I was rather shocked as the five other finalists' books covered such a variety of important topics. Congratulations to the finalists Leah MetherCaroline SandfordAnnie StewartHunter Leonard and Suzanne Cremen, PhD!

I can't thank Lesley Williams and the team at Major Street Publishing enough for their support and encouragement. It felt strange not being able to give Lesley a hug after the announcement... she sent me a lovely bunch of flowers a few hours later instead - thank you!

A big thanks to convenor Lawrence Arnold FRSA who announced the Awarded Book with his thoughts on the book and the book launch last year, Philipa Duthie and Mark Strachan from RSA Oceania and to all the award panel members Warren FrehseKathryn Jackson (FCIPD, Senior EIA, FRSA)June SmithKaye NolanSandy Hutchison, Career Transition Specialist and Sue Ellson for supporting the Award.
